Recycling/Composting/Zero Waste
MSL employees bring green composting (organic material mostly from kitchens and yards like fruits, vegetables, yard trimmings) to add to MSL compost pit (just a hole dug into the ground). MSL composts leftovers from employee meals when appropriate, paper towels, some carboard, shredded paper, and other compostable everyday household items. SPECIAL NOTE: MSL only composts items that are free of chemical waste and that can not otherwise be recycled. Check out our blog post for more info. Click Here
Recycling
MSL currently recycles plastic, glass, metal, paper, and cardboard. Insert a blurb about the importance of recycling and how MSL is happy and proud to be doing their part without sounding too high and mighty but in an encouraging way that might inspire others to do the same.
Zero Waste Inititative
Utilizing recycling, composting, less waste generation buy limiting the purchase of chemicals and materials when possible, in the attempt to prevent 90% or more of MSLs total weight of waste from entering landfills. Insert a blurb about why keeping trash out of the landfill is important.
